Wonders Of Our World Classes

Roadrunners Class (Ages 4-7)

Our Roadrunners class is designed for adventurous and imaginative children who are ready to explore the world through nature, creativity, and connection.

Blending hands-on exploration with playful learning, children dive into seasonal nature studies, storytelling, nature-inspired art, journaling, and movement-based games. Through engaging literacy experiences, they expand their understanding of the natural world and build early language skills in a joyful, meaningful way.

This class nurtures the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—by supporting social-emotional development, confidence, and curiosity. With plenty of time for creativity and nature-based discovery, Roadrunners thrive in an environment that honors their energy, wonder, and growing independence.

Coyotes Class (Ages 8-12)

Our Coyotes class is designed for curious and creative kids who are ready to dive deeper into nature, learning, and imaginative exploration.

Each month, children engage in hands-on projects and experiments, seasonal nature studies, chapter book read-alouds, journaling, expressive art, and nature-based yoga and mindfulness. We follow the rhythms of the seasons and build our curriculum around fun, theme-based learning that inspires wonder and connection to the natural world.

Rooted in a whole-child approach, this class nurtures the mind, body, and spirit—supporting social-emotional growth, self-awareness, and confidence through creativity, movement, and connection.

Desert Rose Circle: A Sunset Nature, Mindfulness, and Creative Expression Group for Pre-Teen/Teens

Desert Rose Circle is an evening gathering for pre-teens/teens, inspired by the rare desert stone found in the washes. Under the sunset sky, we practice mindfulness, explore nature walks to notice the desert’s unique plants and animals, and engage in sketching and journaling. Through shared group games and meaningful activities, teens build connection, friendship, and a sense of belonging. Like the layered desert rose, each participant is invited to explore their own inner landscape—growing in self-awareness, confidence, and connection.
